The class focused on training students not only to be college bound, but to challenge them to think beyond College to the benefits they could apply in a professional work environment. I want to be a tutor because I have a lot of experience in helping students from various backgrounds understand their classes and get better grades. I have had the opportunity to watch students who struggle in my classes to get a C or lower, work with me one on one and start raise their grades to an A or B average. Along with their improved grade comes a new confidence to tackle difficult subjects because the student proved to him or herself that it doesn't have to be impossible for them.
