Junior Honors student at Calvin College with a major in Film and Media Studies.
Experience
International Baccalaureate (IB) Certificate student in high school. Received grades of 5 (out of 7) on IB Higher Level English and History exams. I aim to be a film professor myself, though I was originally thinking of becoming a teacher myself. I enjoy teaching, particularly the humanities. As a literature minor (possibly major), I have taken many English courses. With film and media studies as my major, I have take plenty of conceptual courses situating culture within interpretive frameworks. With a foundational education from the IB and a liberal arts college education, I feel equipped to guide students in other areas outside of my major as well, such as history/general social studies.
