My teaching credentials started with an Associates Degree from Grand Rapids Junior College; two Bachelor of Science degrees from Michigan State University, one in Crop and Soil Science ad the other in Agribusiness Education. I graduated from Aquinas College with a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education. I completed the doctoral program in Evaluation Measurement and Research at Western Michigan University.

I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I was born and raised here too. I began teaching in 1988 and have taught elementary, high school, and adult learners throughout my career. In 2008, I began to explore other ventures. Our twin sons' were preparing for the ACT test using books and online resources. But like most teens they were not successful preparing on their own. Because test scores greatly impact college admission and scholarship opportunities, I began to study and learn more about ACT test prep. I discovered many instructors are not certified teachers. Many lack the skills to interact with and teach today's teens. Also, most programs did not provide the flexibility we needed as a busy family. I put my skill and expertise as a certified teacher to work to create a premium test prep program. I focus on the needs of each student and work at a pace that is appropriate for them. My private tutoring is available in your home or other convenient location.
